App State at #5 ... yet Maine is #8 and Towson is #13? The media needs to get their heads out of their collective a$$es and stop voting based on past reputation and go off of THIS YEAR's PERFORMANCE.

Fan polls are 10x better ...

Are you kidding to have Delaware and W&M - both are eliminated from playoffs - should have had Furman and others in their place - the CAA keeps getting the love?

cpalum, UND got atleast one mistake NDSU vote. It happens in every poll.

Those 3 points shouldnt mean anything. :p

I need only point you this far to clarify my point.

Yeah Illinois State pounds South Dakota and beats Indiana State in back to back weeks and is still behind both teams.

SDSU and SIU are still getting votes, why I have no idea.

I think alot of people forget that Others reciving votes had to be at worst #25 on someones poll.

I could see a couple of these teams taking that spot.

I have no idea how YSU only got 3 points. Most of these teams would be hard pressed to be my #35 let alone a #25...

In whos poll is drake a top 25 team? Lafayette? Duquesne? SIU? SDSU? Penn? San Diego?? I mean come on.

Completely different polls, 26 :) you have no proof that it happened with this one :)

And for the record, I have CP in my AGS poll and not UND......

I'd love to see some of these polls that got submitted by media and SIDs....just to see how far the east bias and homerism goes.

yes, the same Wofford that just this week lost to and UNRANKED team, 26-21

That unranked team is ranked higher than Lehigh in Saragin ;)

What do you suppose would happen to Lehigh if they lose to an unranked team?
Where is their quality win to support them? Liberty? Please.

youngterrier,

Wofford lost to an unranked Furman this past weekend 26-21 and is now ranked 12th

how is that statement that you made that Wofford would still be in the top ten working out for you?

yikes!

Still number one in Saragin. Lehigh is 14. Furman is 13 xlolx

That should just show you how stupid/unimportant polls are and should in no way comfort you about the strength of your team.

I'm just making a point, I never said I disagreed with you...I know Wofford's a great team and we'll probably make the playoffs, but something crazy could happen again. If we make the playoffs we'll be a very tough team to beat and if a could plays bounce our way I think we're good enough to go to Frisco. If we play like last week we won't.

Might have something to do with strength of schedule. SHSU's only semi-quality win was against 5-3 Central Arkansas. The combined records of their other six wins is 9-33, including a win over an 0-7 FBS team that has been out scored by its opponents 333-100. ASU's losses came against the former #5 FCS team and the current #12 FBS team in the BCS rankings.

Well, the weakness of the schedule has played out that way over the season to this point, but when the season started, WIU,UCA, McNeese & SFA were all ranked. 7 DI wins is 7 DI wins.

Im not hating on GSU, Im really not. Im impressed that they were able to compete against Chattanooga as much as they were. But for these polls to leave out Chattanooga while ranking GSU 1 is laughable. Chattanooga trailed by 2 tds when their 3rd string QB entered the game and won on a failed 2pt conversion by 1 point!!! In a revenge game for GSU!! Be serious FCS "experts"!
