First Ivy-Ivy weekend of 2011 is coming up.

My record heading into this week: 20-12

Yale at Penn - It has been a whirlwind of a season so far for both teams, this game is hard to pick.
Brown at Cornell - No problem if Brown will stay consistent.
Princeton at Harvard - Harvard's defense far too strong for Princeton.
Columbia at Dartmouth - can the Big Green stop their own slide?

Penn - I've lost the faith
Brown - Cornell is going to upset someone though, hopefully Penn
Harvard - a rout
Dartmouth - because Columbia is jinxed, always has been, always will be

I agree with these picks. I'd love to see Yale pull the upset, but I don't think it's in the cards.

I'm so disappointed with the Big Green that I'm going to fly across the country this weekend to get this losing streak stopped.

I am very, very concerned about Princeton. It's not as if the Tigers don't have the talent.

Yale at Penn – The Keystone State is unkind to the Eli. Penn 28-24

Brown at Cornell – Big Red are having trouble assembling an offense. Brown 31-10

Princeton at Harvard – I just feel badly for the Tigers. Harvard 35-7

Columbia at Dartmouth – Exhausted Lions are told to take the "A" to 207th Street and swim north from there. Dartmouth 31-14

You need to give the pregame pep talk, 26. Invoke the spirit of 1970. xthumbsupx

Yale at Penn is on Versus this Saturday at noon. Here's hoping I don't throw something through the TV screen.

I watched most of the Columbia-Penn game last week. What a whiner Bagnoli is. There wasn't a penalty against Penn he didn't b*tch about.

I think Penn's defense will shut down the Eli, 24-9

Cornell is 'cruisin' for a Bruin' and gets it good, Brown 31-14

Princeton is become a head case. Harvard shrink wraps them and sends 'em home, 38-7.

The Lionhearts pull off the mild upset as Dartmouth seems to have stumbled. Columbia, 17-14.

Penn, Brown and Harvard are easy winners this week. Dartmouth vs Columbia is the hardest because they are both so incompetent. The Big Green have Schweiger and are home but are spotty at QB and have a head coach with the worst winning % in the history of college football so I'll go with Columbia in a close one since I like their QB.

Harvard (-30.5) vs Princeton

Wow!!! How far has Princeton, with one of the great football histories and traditions, fallen. :(

Yale at Penn - Notice - no pick. Both lost to Lafayette (the only teams in America with that distinction at this point in the season), so who cares.
Brown at Cornell - The Big Dread put the football program in the same envelope with Ed Marinaro's diploma.
Princeton at Harvard - Princeton has dropped football, but no one has told the kids.
Columbia at Dartmouth - The football world has been eagerly looking forward to this one.

sad

very sad indeed

maybe it is time to start thinking about Basketball season for all Princetonians around

I think Princeton will beat that spread, which is generous. I see it as a 17-point Harvard win. Say 31-14.

56-39 final... anyone know where this ranks in terms of highest combined scoring in Ivy history? I don't recall an Ivy game in danger of making the basketball range recently.
