Nice work again Emory. One critique for the future though. I don't know if you remember, but in late July or early August I said that I could help by giving a phonetic list or the names of some of the teams?

It was in the one that I had mentioned not mixing up Montana with Montana State and so forth. I also had told you that the team known as Towson is pronounced TOE-Sun.xlolx

Watch out for the Tiger fans now brother!

I'll provide a couple more just for future reference:

The Citadel is never, ever referred to as "Citadel".

Appalachian State is pronounced App-uh-lay-chun.

Thanks for the video Emory. Good stuff.

I bet there are some tips I missed that will be added as well.:D

I used to think the same thing but then thought to myself..."well, if I needed to pull a truck by using another truck I would use a Tow Rope...not a Tau Rope" and that fixed if for me.;)

I'm assuming you've been briefed on Newark, too. And thanks, as always!

(Who would have thought that this would be a game I was looking forward to as a voter when this season began?)

Great preview and yeah it's NOT TOE-sun. I die a little inside every time I hear that :)

Wait, so it is Toe-son or it isn't? I've always heard/pronounced tau-son. Very confused...

When you are speaking to a Toe-son fan or alumni (i.e., Andy or Bandl) the appropriate pronunciation is Toe-Sun.

When speaking to anyone else the appropriate pronunciation is Tau-Sun

True, but since andy played for them I like to show the respect of pronouncing it as he instructs.

I don't care at all what bandl thinks though.:)

I always have heard it pronounced Tau-son not Toe-sun.
