A very good team that is suffering through some growing pains in having that target on their back. They found out quickly at USD that they can not let up their intensity or think too well of themselves for a second when you have that cloak on.

It is pretty easy to see how good they are and if they regroup now they will be a real ***** in the playoffs.

That is witty, but a little classless. The team I saw looked good enough to beat the Griz if BLM hadn't had such an uncharacteristically inaccurate day. I think most Griz were huge fans of EWU in the playoffs last year -- and of course we will be this weekend. We poked the stick in their eye, but maybe the Cats will pay. Perhaps that what Alpha has in mind with his needle??

I am seeing a very one dimensional team. When you have to consistently throw the ball 60+ times per game that is a recipe for bad things to happen, even if you have really good wideouts and a really good QB, as does Eastern. Over the course of a season, teams will find ways of getting to him, and it appears that has already happened. Eastern did run a bit better against Montana, so we shall see how this all plays out in future weeks. One thing is for sure, they miss Jones a lot more than any Eastern fan ever expected.

Until a few weeks ago, I hadn't even noticed the "EWU" in the wings of the bird. I really did not see 0-3 coming for them. I really thought Bo Levi would have a stellar season. I am looking very wrong as usual.

If Grizo was on a train heading west that left Chicago at 10am and Coldplay was on a train heading west that left New York at 6am..............what state would hear the huge sucking sound first?

brutal start of the season for eastern. i feel kinda bad for you guys.

that said, it felt really great to beat the eagles in MSLA this year. vengeance is mine.

Well if the contest starts when the trains leave it would be NY.

The red turf should be faded to pink until there is a victory. LOL 0-3 ... Crazy to think the closest game was the UW-EWU one, while Coyotes ran over Eagles.

The team is really missing Taiwan Jones. He was an impact player, for sure. All the talk about JC Sherritt was a load of bull. Taiwan gets a 50 yard run at least once a game. Did you see his preseason highlights? Topped a 100 in one of them.

Bo Levi has really disappointed me on offense. I thought he would continue to develop and maybe be a late 5th-6th round draft pick. Right now, this team is pulling for a late 5th-6th at-large!
