37-12 with maybe 10 minutes to go. Rookie QB, Andrew Shoop (only 15 passes in his career prior to tonight) has 4 TD passes. Tavani is unbelievably stretching the field with his vertical passing game.

Now 37-12 Lafayette. Andrew Shoop 4TD passes. There's an early suggestion that we might suck less that some thought, but I'll withhold judgment.

Well who saw this one coming? Harvard and Penn fall to PL squads today...love it! What got into the Leopards?

Good win for the Pards. Nice bounce back from the GTown game.

Nice one! The poor OOC showing by some Ivies is an indication that our scheduling needs fresh opponents. Please, Lamar, Austin Peay, etc., I'm calling on you!

Pretty good showing all around for the good guys on the first Patriot-Ivy weekend of the season.

Our new QB Andrew Shoop lit it up! Freshmen RB Ross Scheurman and Soph WR Andrew Ross also had huge games. Our D has been decent so far, and it looks like we found an offense.

Looks like we beat the spread, huh?

I guess the key to beating Penn was more gang-tackling.

Pards were able generate some big plays which have been missing. This is probabaly the most surprising score of the weekend.

PL had a very good weekend against the IL.

This is probabaly the most surprising score of the weekend.

It might get my vote, but there's just so much wackiness this weekend.
W&M 13-10 over that other UNH
Indiana State upending former valley member WKU (FBS) (though yes, wku is bad, but still)
Monmouth beating Nova, ensuring they may only receive 200 less votes in the Sportsnetwork Poll than Villanova

Good luck next week at Stony Brook!

Hopefully neither get votes.

What happened to O'Neil?

He suffered a concussion last week against Georgetown.

I'd say the W&M 13, New Haven 10, Monmouth 20, Nova 9, and the Indiana State beatdown of WKU are more surprising, but yeah, this one's up there.

Could the PL end up with their best year in ages? Lafayette just pulverized the Ivy champs, Lehigh is ranked, and Holy Cross is making a serious play for the Top 25. Georgetown and Bucknell are 2-1. The only real team that's been subpar is Colgate.

Great win, Pards. Couldn't believe the score when announced at Princeton. O'Neill just got "Wally Pipped"??

IMO, it is more than just a bad defense and bad special teams, either. Hard to know what the heck is going on.
