It was announced in a press release at the start of Thursday's game with Temple. He broke a foot and will redshirt this season. Great kid and a team leader. I hate to see this for him, as well as the team. The good news is Norman White will be back next year and probably won't need surgery.

True, but he comes back next year with no lost eligibility (shouldn't have any problem getting the medical redshirt) and the team around him a little older & more experienced. Could be a blessing in disguise.

Oh for next year it will a huge blessing. From this year's offense we are only graduating Mikey Reynolds, so it will be a much more experienced team thats played together more like you said. However in the mean time its not going to be too fun.
