In this article it says that President Bush will be in Charlotte on Thursday and it goes on to say that he must fly back to Washington for a photo op with 2005/2006 NCAA Sports Champions.

Does anyone know if App is a part of this?

No clue, but it would be pretty cool to have a pic with the pres. (No smart political comments, please.):)

prolly going to schmooze with the Florida Gator's BKB team.

would be nice though to see him with App State though.

If they split the years 05/06, that would probably allude to it being basketball considering App hasn't won anything this year...

Elon might even be able to take UF's basketball team. I mean damn, a football team vs. a BBall team is a helluva numbers advantage, and thats before you even start factoring in the added bonus of pads and a helmet.
