Defense really stepped up today. Very aggressive scrimmage, and numerous big hits. Young D-linemen are coming along, and that unit was much better than last week. LBs were outstanding again, with Josh Rutter all over the field.
Freshman RJ Archer has made the switch from QB to wide-out, and impressed today. Caught about 6 balls, and showed excellent hands, as well as strength and elusiveness after the catch. At 6'2" and 205, he gives us another big receiver.
Jake Phillips (pictured below) has solidified himself as the #1 QB. That's your's truly in the black jacket.
