Some people posted before I was able to get the poll up, so be sure and vote in the poll if you haven't done so.

I may do this for other leagues, but the SoCon seems to have the most followers here, so I figured I'd start with them.

well I voted because it said who's number one not who will win the socon title, I think Appy is #1 but GSU will win it (homer pick)

Wofford is underrated by the prognosticators and has both App and GSU at home.

From what we saw last year, GSU is back in the hunt. App St will be the #1 pick, GSU will win the conference.

People are overlooking Wofford. Things tend to go Wofford's way when people are overlooking them.

Chatty won't win this year, but they will have a bearing on which one of the top three doesn't win. I believe the Mocs will play the roll of spoiler this year.

I'll guess that it'll be a split Championship between Wofford and Appalachian St. with Wofford getting the automatic bid for the playoffs.

Not voting, there's no option for a tie.

Since there are nine football playing SoCon teams and you can have ten poll options, I almost included an option for a tie. But if you think there will be two teams tied for the best record, whoever won the game between them would be the one getting the bid and thus the actual champion.

Don't tell that to the yosef's they forget about wofford tying them and BEATING them on the field and claim to have won the title.

It's a toss up. GSU, Wofford or App State can go in any combination. I can guess the bottom two better than the top two. Chatanooga may decide a game, but at the same time, everybody knows they're a team. They probably won't go past the top of the middle of the pack though.

Wofford gets App and GSU at home. They can lose either game, but they also play AT Furman and Chattanooga. I'm not counting either of those two teams out. We'll see with the Furple.

GSU gets Wofford and App on the road. App and GSU have terrible road records against each other. It's Black Saturday in Boone. They get both middle of the road teams at home.

App gets Wofford on the road and GSU at home. Chatanooga comes to The Rock, but they play Furman on the road.

Basically, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang can be the reason a team doesn't win the SoCon if that team is Wofford. I don't see them winning in Paulson or Kidd Brewer, but I could be wrong. At this point, it's anybody's guess as to what happens, when it happens or how it happens. Can it be September 3rd now?
