Norfolk State University has partnered with the City of Norfolk to host a grand opening event for The Tide, the new light rail system. The event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ballentine/Broad Creek station, which is located adjacent to the NSU football practice field.
