Western Carolina continued its annual fall drills under overcast skies on Friday afternoon for its third practice session, donning the shoulder pads for the first-time during preseason. Intermittent rain showers peppered the practice over the final eight periods, even causing a 30-minute delay for lightning before the squad was able to return to the turf and conclude with team sessions.
