Finally a little football to talk.
NFLDraftScout.com, which looks to be a CBS operation, has ranked potential NFL Draft picks for 2012. Two Paladins made an impressive showing on the list.
Ryan Steed is placed as the #14 cornerback in all of college football, and the #2 at the position in the FCS. Kadarron Anderson is slotted as the #25 inside linebacker in football and #2 at the position in the FCS. Good press for a couple of FCS players. I anticipate that these two young men will have a succesful season under a new defensive-minded Coach Fowler.
Other SoConners that jumped into the top 50 positional rankings (that I didn't overlook): UTC's Coleman (#7 QB), Wofford's Brietenstein (FB #49) and Pall (OLB #45), Elon's Jones (ILB #35), App's Cadet (#32 RB) and Quick (#10 WR).
Not bad.
