Took a little break from I-AA as a coach at a Div III program and now has made his way back to the "promised land"...
CHARLESTON, IL -- Justin Lustig, former assistant football coach at Christopher Newport and Villanova, has been named special teams coordinator at Eastern Illinois University, Head Coach Bob Spoo announced Wednesday (March 15).
Lustig has coached defensive backs and special teams for the past two years (2004-2005) at Christopher Newport University, a NCAA III program, in Newport News, VA.
Last year's special teams blocked 11 kicks and scored six touchdowns while ranking either first or second in every special teams category in the USA South Athletic Conference.
Lustig has coached eight players who have earned all-conference honors the past two years including the 2005 USA South Conference defensive 'Player of the Year.'
