McKnight was a JR and is returning, so I'm not sure what that team was thinking

FCS schools are well represented up north. A quick review of the pre-season rosters found 66 players from 39 FCS schools. UNH and Eastern Washington each have 5 alums playing; UMass has 4; and North Dakota, Southern Illinois, and Sacramentom State have 3 each. The CAA continues to lead with 17 players (although 3 of them are from the defunct Northeastern (2) and Hofstra (1) programs, Big Sky is a close second with 15, and Missouri Valley and Ohio Valley each have 7. Every conference except the Northeast has at least one player on a roster.

Our best WR ended up as CFL Rookie of the Year...Weston Dressler. Just remember Ricky Williams played in the CFL (during his NFL suspension).xlolx

A couple quarterbacks named Warren Moon & Doug Flutie kickstarted their NFL careers north of the border.

We've had some Liberty kids taken the past few years that were head scratchers. Oh Canada.

For the record, I was in Calgary last week on business and loved the city. The Stampeders would not be a bad assignment. Then again, neither would the BC Lions.

Mark Restelli from Cal Poly was a standout linebacker at Edmonton, but the Miami Dolphins snagged him this year for special teams.
