Feb. 20, 2006

McNeese State head football coach Tommy Tate has announced a re-organization of his coaching staff.

Tate said that Lark Hebert will take over as the defensive line coach (moving from the offensive line), Ben Norton will handle the offensive line (moving from running backs coach), Carlos McGee will return to running backs coach (moving from the defensive backfield) and Zack Bronson will join the staff as a defensive backfield coach.

The other members of the staff will continue in their current positions, Matt Viator as offensive coordinator and quarterback coach, Adam Henry as the wide receiver coach, Jason Rollins as linebacker coach, Jake Morrison as a defensive line coach and Delphfrine Lee as a defensive back coach.

Tate will continue to serve as the defensive coordinator, an assignment he took over last season. He said that he will add a tight end coach later in the year.
