Good to see Kurn and Glazier added. I think the SWAC folks will be happy now that Webber has been added. The only reason I did not project him on the list was because I know it is always good to have someone from each league listed and with no Buchanan candidates, I put the Dartmouth RB because he had comparable stats worthy of mention for the Payton. Congrats to all of the finalists!!

Finalists named for Payton, Buchanan awards
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) – The finalists for the Football Championship Subdivision's top player honors were announced Monday and ballots were sent to the voters of the Walter Payton and Buck Buchanan awards, sponsored by Fathead.com.

Each award has 20 finalists. The Payton Award is bestowed on the outstanding player in the FCS and the Buchanan Award is given to the outstanding defensive player in the FCS.

Ballots for the Payton and Buchanan awards – as well as for the Eddie Robinson Award which honors the FCS coach of the year and also is sponsored by Fathead.com – were sent to a panel of nearly 175 sports information and media relations directors, broadcasters, writers and other dignitaries. All three award winners will be announced at the national awards banquet on Thursday, Jan. 6 in Frisco, Texas – the night before the national championship game.
