Only 4,107 saw Old Dominion win at NC Central today. The Eagles had been averaging more than 10K per game this season.

It seemed like more GSU fans wanted to see Bobby Lamb's last game than Furman fans did, I did not hear an official number from greenville though.

on tv it seemed like some empty seats in the swamp but a ton of app fans down there...

26,019 watched the 110th Brawl of the Wild in Missoula, the first time Wa-Griz has cracked 26,000. (26,020 if you count me watching some of the second quarter from near the top of Mt. Sentinel).

A more impressive number - with the cold, the wind chill at times dropped to -35, with nice blowing snow and lots o' Griz & Cats in short sleeves.

Good luck to the Cats in the playoffs, and grats on a great win today!

4,500 (approx) for TTU's upset over Jacksonville St. Sadly, I'm actually pleasantly surprised at that number (16,500 seat stadium).

I drove north on I-95 friday and saw 2 sets of Florida Car Flags and 22 sets of App State car flags in 25 miles! I was impressed, and kinda sad that it was going down in GSU's backyard ;)

Harvard announced a sellout of 30,323, although it looked like there were some empty seats.

Sellout crowd of 12,259 in Williamsburg to see the Tribe wrap up the AQ. I know of several people who were unable to find tickets, and student admission has been limited to 3,000 for the last few home games. Is there any chance additional temporary seating could be brought in for a home playoff game?

9785 saw the UC Davis Aggies knock their arch rival Sacramento State out of playoff consideration 17-16 in a game with the wildest weather I've been in for a football game...driving rain, constant high winds and occasional lightening and hail. Fans were asked to leave the stadium and seek safety just before the start of the 2nd half and the game was delayed 47 minutes. The game turned into a game of field position, ball control and turnovers since the elements made the kicking and passing look comical at times. It was wet and wild for sure...

The Aggies played the spoiler this year by knocking their two main rivals, Cal Poly and Sac State, out of playoff contention after winning both games by 1 point: 22-21 over Poly and 17-16 over the Hornets. Unbelievable finish for the Ags.

22,891 at the UD/Nova game.

I'm glad UD and Nova are on opposite sides of the bracket - I'm hoping for a rematch in Frisco.

Largest crowd since 1992, and brought this season to an average of over 20,000 per game, extending Delaware's lead as the school with the longest running streak of 20,000+ average annual attendance (12 years running now).

I didn't hear the final numbers at the UNH/Towson game, but the crowd on the UNH side was a bit sparse, and I counted less than 60 in the visitor's stands. No big surprise with Towson being 1-9 and the weather a bit chilly and windy.

If that happens, I expect 10% of that crowd in PHP.

I'm inclined to agree. The game shouldn't have been moved from Chatty, and certainly not to TX.

Probably not, we do not have any place to add seats. Do not think they will limit the students for the playoff games. Tribe fever is running high on campus!!

Think the move will be good, Dallas is easier to fly into and the weather hoepfully will be better. Biggest issue is getting hotels, filling up already.

When there are enough general FCS fans willing to pay for a plane ticket to go to the game, it might be good. Chatty is a driveable distance for a lot of the east coast, which with the exception of Montana, has historically dominated the FCS championship. As far as weather goes, football is a fall sport, it should be played in the cold.

As a Montanan, I still like Chatty. It had embraced the championship game, and it was definitely better than, say, a host city whose team began with the letter M....

It's a shame Missoula isn't easier to get to - I think any FCS fan would love the atmosphere here, and I think a lot of the teams' fans we've hosted over the years have enjoyed the town. However, getting to Missoula in January is a bit more Sir Edmund Hillary than pure charterbus, so... :)

13,923 at Lafayette's Fisher Field to see the 146th game with Lehigh. However, despite the 'sell out' there were empty seats around. From the sounds of it, a fair number decided to stay at the tailgates and watch on TV, which I find pathetic.

I couldn't see empty seats, but people tend to slide more butts in than there are numbers on the bleachers. So there will always be some fudge room at the upper corners. Still, it was a nice crowd, since the capacity of Fisher is only 13,100.

Oh, I know of at least 20 or so who decided to stay in the lot and drink and watch the game on TV. I guess I'm old school and haven't "grown up" yet....
