I agree with the results, although I expect that Harvard-Penn will be fairly close. But bad things often happen to Harvard at Franklin Field.xoopsx

The most played rivalry in the Ivy League will be renewed Saturday when Princeton meets Yale for the 133rd time. The second-most played rivalry in the league is Yale-Harvard (126), while Princeton’s second-most played rivalry is against Harvard (103).

Brown 35, Dartmouth 28 - at least it was quite close
Yale 14, Princeton 13
Columbia 20, Cornell 17
Penn 34, Harvard 14

Dartmouth v. Brown was tied 28 - 28 in the 4th. Darn.

Looks like an impressive win by Penn. I expected the Quackers to win, but not by 20!

Yale thanks for your hospitality. Large crowd. Bright spot was our middle linebacker. Senior linebacker Jon Olofsson led the Tigers with 14 tackles, including 13 solo stops, and had both a forced and recovered fumble for a defense that allowed only one touchdown. Princeton forced three turnovers, limited Yale to four third-down conversions in 17 attempts and held the Bulldogs to only 62 yards rushing

Nice job by the Tigers. They could have easily won this game.

Bulldog, Thanks. This has been the story of our season. We are RIGHT there and then snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

It has been just the opposite for Yale. We have managed to win almost all the close games. I don't know whether Yale is pretty good or lucky, but I'll take it.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Princeton senior linebacker Jon Olofsson (Frankford, Ill.) led the Tiger defense that allowed only one offensive touchdown to Yale in a 14-13 loss to the Bulldogs. Olofsson was all over the field, compiling 14 tackles, including 13 solo stops, with two of those tackles for loss, including one sack. He forced a fumble on one play, recovered a fumble on another and also added a pass breakup
