14-3 Robert Morris over Central Connecticut State midway through the first period. Little defense being played here as CCSU is threatening again.

Here is a link to the blog on this game:

Mr. C
November 6th, 2010, 11:36 AM
CCSU used an eight-yard TD pass from Gunnar Jesperson to Chris Tolbert to cut the Robert Morris lead to 14-10 with 5:14 left in the first period.

Mr. C
November 6th, 2010, 11:42 AM
Robert Morris pinned CCSU at the one with a nice punt and coverage and Alex DiMichele recovered a fumble for the Colonials on the next play. Jeff Link powered in from the one on the next play to give RMU a 21-10 lead with 2:01 on the first period clock.

darell1976, i know the feeling. The Aggies had 37 winning seasons in a row in D2 and then joined FCS - not so good.

Things will get better. In 2002 we went from 5-6 (5-5 due to UNC forfeiting 3 wins but I still count it as a losing season), to 12-2 in 2003 and in 1989 we went 3-7-1 to 7-3 in 1990. So we have a bump in the road now and then but it doesn't last long. See ya Ags next year!

Lehigh dominates Holy Cross 34-17. Don't let the score fool you, LU played keep away in the fourth quarter, conservatively taking two field goals and HC scored with 6 seconds left in garbage time when the outcome was well in hand. LU defense dominated and but for a couple of plays, this game could have been 50-3. Still, good, solid victory for Lehigh, giving them at least a share of the Patriot League championship, with the loss by Lafayette today to Colgate. Looking for Lehigh to close it out strong.

You won't have to worry about TTU, I don't think. They are suddenly riddled with injuries and don't know who to put where. The funny thing is that it came up after a BYE week. I had my hopes up for actually being in contention for the title down the road. But, I must have been looking at SEMO's roster the whole time this preseason.

One game at a time, Nicholls St. next week. I'll tell you one thing, this Demon team is hot and the youth has matured immensely since early in the season. The defense is playing lights out. Right now, we have to be one of the hottest teams in the country.

Southeast Missouri gets win #9. Redhawks win 40-14 on Senior Day at Houck Stadium. The Redhawks made history once again today as this is only the third time in school history the team has won 9 games in a season (1937 and 1955). Also, today's win means that SEMO will finish the regular season undefeated at Houck Stadium. That has never happened before in the 80 seasons of football at Houck Stadium.

Congrats to SEMO - hope all the folks in Cape are enjoying the season xthumbsupx
