I think you might have the Committee rules mixed up.

They will seed the top 5.
Best 7 teams left get byes into the 2nd round.
Bottom 8 are in the opening round.

Are you saying the bottom 8 in your bracket are Montana St., JMU, Wofford, Liberty, BCU, UTC, WIU, and SF Austin?

As that bracket shows I would much rather be number 5 ranked team than number 1

Come on WestCoastAggie...

Stop drinking out of Craig Haley's cup. SFA in the bottom eight? Are you kidding me? They've got one foe left on the slate that is bothersome. If they lose one game, they would still be in the second round and probably still hosting a home game too! If they win out - as expected - they'll be a top four seed.

I strictly stuck to the regionalization rules and tried to prevent from scheduling teams from the same conference together in the 1st round. I am not sure if that is going to happen but I am trying to follow the same model that TT is following for his brackets and who I think will be outbid for a game.

My model keeps things regionalized - but legitimately puts the 'bottom teams' in the first round... you won't find any AQs below, outside of those from the lowest-ranking leagues in the GPI... the rest are the bottom teams selected out of a particularly league...

Robert Morris @ Lehigh
Wofford @ South Carolina State
Chattanooga @ Southeast Missouri
Bethune Cookman @ Georgia Southern
