Please list your school's 2006 openings left that still could be used to finish your upcoming football schedule based on an 11 game regular season. Maybe our AD's can use this info!

JMU - 9/9 and 9/16

Well thanks to Idaho State backing out on us we have one to fill, Sept. 30th. Any takers?

Schedule openings? Did somebody say schedule openings?

NDSU has three:

9/9
10/14
10/21

10/21 might be filled with I-A Minnesota if another game cannot be found. NDSU NEEDS a home game, however, on one of the October dates- currently there's a home game on 9/16, and the next home game isn't until 11/11! Two months without a home game during the season. :bawling:

I went to your website and it states that you all are playing Northeastern at home on 9/9/06 instead of 9/16/06. Which is the correct date? JMU is looking for a game on either date!

I nominate JMU Duke Dog for AD of JMU. He's the one working the hardest to get the Dukes a schedule.

Thanks for the compliment blukeys! I just really want this whole thing finalized! Holy Cross has a home game almost finalized on 9/9/06, maybe it is JMU? :read:

From the NDSU board, Eastern Washington is trying to fill a game on 9/9/06? Is this true? If so would they be willing to play JMU?

I would love to get paid, and I would take it for even less than what our current AD gets paid. I love JMU and would do my best to better it. Now back to researching opponents! :read:

If JMU is really desperate it could happen. Would you all be willing to make a trip out to the east coast in 2008? The Dukes are looking to avoid scheduling two DII opponents in the same season.

Really just posting to repeat what DFW posted. Two open dates with only about 6 months to fill them. What's up with that?

We have OPENs both week and only need to fill one. We prefer a home game because we only have four now... :)

How great would that be! Would love to see the Hoyas play an A-10 team. Could be ugly, but that's how a program gets better. And the location of the two teams would work just fine.

Late October dates are difficult to fill, and there aren't a lot of I-AA independents to choose from, either. Any options out there?

Nope, I heard from a Holy Cross alum that rumor has it that Northeastern will play HC in a home and home starting this year at Fitton Field in Worcester.

You know as well as I do that we will be dropping a DII in the 9/2 spot and an open date in Oct. before the meat of the Conference schedule begins. It has been that way for years. Coach Randleman always had an open date before conference.

Yep and that open date before the meat of conference is a great idea...

Wish it wasn't a Div II, but I think we're going to do UCA a favor...

JMU has already released its scheduled, and Holy Cross was not on it.

Why don't we ever schedule another quality I-AA team? That still puzzles me. : retard :

SDSU lost their 9/30 HOME date with Idaho St. Definitely need another HOME D-1AA game. And 10/14 is an open date. Need the two AD's to talk. A home-home could be kind of nice.

Hope SDSU working out a home game with a 1-AA. Only one GWFC home game, 2 D-II's, + U Central Ark (transition) with ISU loss.
