Portland State’s Garyn Schlatter has been selected as the Big Sky Conference’s volleyball player of the week for matches played between Oct. 11-17. The freshman setter played a key role in the Vikings’ victories over the weekend against Northern Colorado and Northern Arizona. The Vikings dealt the Bears their first conference loss and topped the Lumberjacks in a sweep.
