Nova over Maine
UNH upsets JMU (close game due to lack of offense on both teams)
Hens by at least 2 TDs over Rhodie
UMass easily beats a rudderless/leaderless Spiders team

This whole season has been the post-Devlin era. Haha. I think Sasek has more minutes on the field than Pat in the first half of the season.

4-0 last week and looking for another!

(6) Villanova @ Maine
Nova got a bye when they needed it the most. Their injury riddled team made a valiant effort in attempting a comeback @ W&M but fell short. Now with more pieces back and other getting closer, this should be an easy one...except that its @ Orono. The Blackbears have always been a different team at home and Nova will see that. This should be closer than most CAA outsiders would think. Nova in a squeaker.
Nova 30 @ Maine 24

(16)UNH @ (7)JMU
CAA GOTW in Harrisonburg. Its Homecoming for the Dukes and as it seems every year, a strong opponent comes for a visit. UNH grabbed 7 TOs from UR last week but most were against their punter/3rd string QB. Their offense continued to struggle and needed a TD from the defense to score 17 points. Its hard to get a read on the 'cats this year as they aren't as dominate but just as dangerous as the last half dozen years. JMU has their own offensive struggles. Towson was the game everyone thought they would wake up yet only found a way to score 17. Their defense continues to be the star of the show and willing to take the spotlight after years of just being a little more than a breather for the offense. I think the difference in this game will be who can run the ball. JMU should end up with more yards in the end but eating up the time of possession and a good YPG would swing the game in their favor. If UNH can get their last ranked running game going it will keep the Dukes from teeing off on Toman who UNH fans know can give them headaches from time to time. Of course, I like the Dukes in this one. Somehow, someway, they will come out with a close win on Homecoming instead of being on the other side.
UNH 17 @ JMU 21

URI @ (2)Delaware
URI showed they may have been a 1 game wonder with a less than stellar showing in Williamsburg. UD appears to be even better than W&M. It hasn't mattered if they were on the road or at home so far for UD. Devlin is getting healthier but with so many other players clicking on both sides of the ball it hasn't really been an issue so far. Should be another easy game for UD but URI will make the box score look good.
URI 17 @ UD 27

(20) Richmond @ (8) UMass
UMass had its bye last week while UR clearly wishes they did as well. UR had 7 TOs and had to resort to starting their punter at QB for nearly the entire game. This week's QB situation is no better with their #1 and #2 still out. UR's defense will keep this from being a rout but you have to play both sides of the ball in the CAA. Homecoming crowd will go home happy in Amherst.
UR 3 @ UMass 24

'Nova 31 Maine 28 - Philly Cats pull out a GW FG to edge the Dirty Cubs in Orono

UD 38 URI 17 - Devlin and the Blue Chicken offense have their way with Rhody

JMU 44 UNH 38 in OT - CAA game of the week sees the Dukes with an exciting win at home

UMass 28 UR 17 - Ground game of Griffin and Hernandez too much for the free falling Spiders

and in the big one ...

... GSU 44 NC Central 20 - Panthers continue to pounce on opponents with another easy win

JMU 44 UNH 38 in OT - CAA game of the week sees the Dukes with an exciting win at home

we'd probably need 6 OT's to hit 44 :)

35-12 Overall
9-8 CAA

2-2 The CAA went back to normal. Picking JMU on Homecoming is suicide and you don't need to pass the ball to beat UMass. Just makes the last 4/5 games for each team that much more interestingxpopcornxxpopcornxxpopcornx

Y'all got jealous of the Valley being unpredictable, so you just had to confuse all of us, huh? :)

I was flabbergasted that a rudderless Richmond team was ranked last week; apparently, the other voters knew something I didn't.

Yeah the voters know you can not count the Spiders out!
