RMU is getting a serious shaft in this poll. As is YSU, imo. How many votes for Jacksonville are supposed to be for Jacksonville State? How many for Delaware State?

Terrible.

TSN - AUDIT YOUR BALLOTS! Please!

And why are UNH and SIU ranked? Elon too for that matter.

i really don't care THAT much about polls, but not sure why Nova would be higher than JMU. we have a better record, we BEAT our FBS team, and our only loss is to the now-#1 team. there's is to the now-#4 team. i don't care what their injury situation is, injuries are a part of football and we're all dealing with them.

Agreed! Even if RMU isn't in the top-25, how can they be that far down in the ORV list?

DELAWARE STATE (23) ?!?!?!?!?! Stop the insanity!

Jacksonville's only loss is to App State so their votes could be legit. Still wonder about some of the 3 loss teams in the rankings.

I think that by week 5 TSN has settled on their top 20-24 teams and just play around with them based on W's and L's. Only way to explain some of the teams on the poll...xcoffeex

I would venture a guess that those votes were intended for Delaware, not Delaware State.

Not a knock against ASU ( I realize they were next in line) but at this point, as much as it pains me to say it, I think I would have a hard time not putting UD at number 1.

i have never understood media polls verse fan polls, Delaware edged out ASU for #1 on AGS, and then in the TSN poll Appalachian was the clear cut favorite, wasn't even close. I'm not complaining as cases can be made by both teams for #1, I just can't figure out the huge gap in polls.

Sorry, three 2-3 teams ranked while more deserving teams sit outside = FAIL.

I also agree that JMU fell too far. An FBS win and 1 loss to UD is > 2 losses with no Q-Wins.

Maybe, but if after 5 weeks the voters still don't know the difference between Delaware and Delaware State, what does that say about the poll?

I agree...not sure why UNH would be in any poll...we lost two games to teams we should have beat...its not like UNH lost to 'Nova and W&M at this point...geez.

I'm a voter, and here's a possible explanation for some of these faulty votes. In last year's system, you'd click submit and it would give you a confirmation screen where you'd get to look at the ballot before it actually went into the system. That screen doesn't exist any more, so when you hit submit, there's no going back. Could explain some of the weird votes.

I still get the confirmation screen

Not that I'm lobbying for us to get votes since we're 1-3 with all three losses (two to FBS programs) have been by combined eight points, but we're better than the majority of ORV's this week ... our win came against UT Martin, an ORV ... we got a vote after our game at UL-Monroe on Sept. 25, but are out after the bye week ... hopefully, we can get in the winning column and get our name back on the list and hopefully in the top 25 by the end of the year.

How is North Dakota State ranked ahead of WIU? And at this point SIU has no reason to still be in the poll. WIU beat NDSU head to head, and their only loss is an FBS loss. I almost think WIU should be higher than us at this point, but of course they wouldn't be due to starting so much further down in the polls. There are some things that are confusing, but overall it isn't too bad. I do agree Delaware should be ranked #1 even though it is hard to leapfrog a team that hasn't lost, but look at Oregon and Boise State in FBS and you can realize it isn't out of realm of possibility.
