No game in Boone with App on a bye, but here is the rest of the SoCon:

Citadel hosting Western Carolina - 10,207
Elon hosting Samford - 10,476
Wofford hosting Furman - 9,290
Total: 29,973

The total for three games is not too different from what App's single game average so far this year, which says more about why App has started this new study than it does about Citadel, Elon, and Wofford.

A very small 4,837 to watch the Sycamores beat up on poor NAIA Quincey. It was in the 50's, rained all day, and 25-30 mph wind right in your face. Still no excuse for sub 5k butts in the stands though.

Even when answering an attendance question, an App fan finds a way to stick it to the others.

How many of those would you guess were from Savannah State? There were probably less than 200 excluding their band when they had to travel the 50 or so miles to Statesboro. I'm therefore thinking they may have provided the 14part, and there were 19,300 Liberty fans?

15,264 GSU vs. Morehead State for Homecoming. Somewhat disappointing, but they had 54k at Turner field for Bobby Cox appreciation day so that probably killed us some. We are still avg 18+k for the season so that's good.

Actually that was not my intention at all, unless by "others" you mean App fans who want to stay in the SoCon. I see nothing wrong with Wofford's attendance. Given the school's size, its quite good.

Please tell me you don't believe there was anywhere near 15K there. On TV, it looked like 3K tops.

I DVRed the game and I saw that they showed it oriented toward the visitor's side. For most of us who was there it looked like we had more than 15K. There were at least 8k students there.

I was at this game and have been to every home game. The lower bowl which seats 29k was half full which goes with 15k. Please get over it Southern fans. This vendetta is getting ridiculous. We have explained the attendance until we are blue in the face and frankly nobody cares but you.

And that was week 5 everyone. Good luck this Saturday.

We could get 16K for a JMU game but not 8500 for CCU? I would think you guys would always sell out...
