Kickoff scheduled for 5 pm PDT from Hillsboro Stadium, temporary home for the Portland State football team this year as PGE Park is being renovated for soccer. The Vikings come in to the game 1-2 with the two losses on the road against the Pac-10. This will be the conference opener for the Vikings. The Bengals, however, have played two conference games, both losses to Northern Colorado and last week at home against Northern Arizona. Their only win came at home against NAIA Montana-Western. The Vikings stole one three weeks ago at UC-Davis. On a personal side, this will be the first year that I have ever had a Big Sky team playing in my hometown. Before this, the closest I got was 2000 when the Vikings last played in Hillsboro, but I was a bit further west at that time.
Weather should be partly cloudy, no threat of rain and temps near 70 at kickoff.
