Another great example of the Bee's crack research staff. CSUS had 2 out of 22 recruits "rated" by Rivals. I say had because Folau didn't sign with Sac State yesterday. That leaves Bobby G, a 3-star Rivals recruit, as the lone "rated" player in the Hornet's recruiting class.

Who knows why the Bee decided to crown CSUS the rivals recruiting champ of the BSC when Idaho State signed 5 two star rivals players and Portland St. signed 10 rivals two stars. But that is why they are the Bee.

Time will tell indeed ... it was funny, we looked back at Virginia's recruiting class from four years ago and D'Brickashaw Ferguson, who is going to be a top 5 NFL pick, was just a three-star recruit. So these services are all very hit and miss.

This thread gets the "silliest" crown!

Good thing coaches don't limit themselves to recruiting Rivals prospects. If they did, most I-AAs couldn't field a full team. Once you get past the nationally known top recruits, Rivals includes players who someone is promoting. They pay little attention to I-AA. Team pages don't even include all the signees they have in their own database. It's nonsense.

Got to agree. Some of our best players never got any mention in Rivals.
