My last week's predictions were just 5-3. Here's to hoping a perfect record this time:

Close
Harvard-Brown
Lafayette-Princeton - what can I say about Princeton's performance vs. Lehigh?
Penn - Villanova - by a mile, but can be close. They represent the front and tail ends of the top 25 (or Penn may be in the ORV by Monday.)
Blowout
Yale - Cornell
Towson - Columbia
Sacred Heart - Dartmouth - Dartmouth-Bucknell result surprised me.

Princeton didn't play that badly, IMO. Listened to the game and there were the usual first-game mix ups, etc. Lafayette will be tough, but not unbeatable.

Lafayette's offense was ...offensive. Their defense played their hearts out. Princeton has a high octane offense chucking the ball at will. They also have a very good PK who can hit from 60 if necessary. If Lafayette cannot run the ball and give their defense a break, Princeton will win. If LC get's its offense moving at all, then the 'pards can win.

If I bet on football I would bet on Princeton. I would bet a lot, I dont even need to know the spread.

The Leopards are talented, but appear young, wounded, and confused.

Why yes it is....I just wanted to see if anyone else acknowledged it. Good luck this weekend.

I'm thinking La Tigre, perhaps.

Princeton beats Lafayette in Double OT. Incredible game.

Princeton scat band plays La Marseillaise, the French National Anthem, for LaFayette prior to game.

. . . and the Princeton know-nothings managed, once again, to refer to their opponents as "Lafayette University" in the game program. Unique difference in this game was that the Princeton side this time looked as if they actually gave a hoot that they won. Very unusual for them.
