BEST: JMU upsetting a ranked FBS team for the second time in college history.....really an impressive win JMU!!!!xhurrayx Living in Richmond, I HATE listening to VT fans. I'm glad this will shut them up for a while......

Worst (sorry WCU): Western getting simply EMBARRASSED by Tusculum. Is this the worst loss we've seen from a scholarship FCS team? I can't remember a full scholly FCS team losing this badly to a D-II school....

Bad thing is, I remember Elon losing to Tusculum about 8 years ago en route to one of our worst seasons in 90+ years of football......but Elon didn't even give up but 17 points in that game.

Hmm.....good point with several of those (although I said scholly teams not NS). Maybe I should have refined the message more before posting.....was just stunned to see the WCU score.

According to WSSU's athletics page, they're still considered DI. I thought they moved back to D-II...

There is overlap in every division more as you move down.

Georgia State is not FCS.

But the OP point may turn out to be right on. Most victories over FBS combined with losses to non-D-I ever on one day??

No one outside this board (and the Pioneer board, of course) will even know about Franklin. But the rest of the nation knows about South Dakota putting it to Minnesota and JMU beating the Gobblers. A good day for I-AA.
