The Texas State football team plays its first home game of the season and looks forward to evening its record to 1-1 when the Bobcats play host to Southern Arkansas in a non-conference game on Saturday, September 11, at Bobcat Stadium. The game kicks off at 6:00 p.m. The Bobcats enter the game looking to win their 15th straight home-opening game which dates back to the 1995 season. Texas State has a 100-70 all-time record on Jim Wacker Field at Bobcat Stadium after posting a 4-2 record last season. Southern Arkansas brings a 0-1 record after dropping a 20-0 decision at Harding University last Saturday, September 4.
