Nothing like rewarding teams for beating the crap out of crappy teams...

MAYBE , just maybe Montana deserved to jump Villanova... But SIU going from 5 to 2? Appy not being punished for an uninspiring lucky win while Villanova is seriously punished for a fluke loss?

Fluke loss? We handed them the ball at our own 25 yard line and they didn't move an inch. Then proceeded to drive the ball down the field in 2 minutes to win anyway. C'mon....

Kind of like New Hampshire jumping from 9 to 5.

Didn't New Hampshire beat the pre-season NEC Favorite, handily? I have UNH above Appalachian State, who I wasn't very impressed with week one. Things can change fast, though. Most impressive teams, for me, were NDSU, JSU, Montana.

CCSU is a solid team. UNH had one of the more impressive wins over the weekend yet it flew under the radar. I really think they're going to give Pitt a giant headache.

Our defense was amazing. Way better than we've seen in years. However, our offense didn't look anything close to fantastic. If we scorch Poly with a huge offensive production, I'll be a believer, but I have a hard time putting us in the top 3 until our offense get's its crap together.

Its hard to get too impressed by a win over a D2 school, even if its a 73-2 game.

I didn't get my poll in on time for the AGS voting but I would have still had Villanova at #1 as they're still the team to beat in my opinion.

I won't say we're undeserving of #1, but I still think Villanova has to prove that they're not #1 first. Nova dropping to #4 is just absurd.

My thoughts exactly... way to early for the Griz to be #1 or even in the top 5.... IMHO

This is a bigger joke than anything I've seen. Heck, the coaches don't know squat. They didn't see the games other than their own. This is all the work of their SIDs or worse. Bucknell getting a vote underscores the ridiculousness of it all.

The coaches poll should be abandoned, it is worthless.
