Less than 10 minutes before the season starts for me here at Groves Stadium for the Wake Forest-Presbyterian game.

It didn't take long for Presbyterian to go down. An opening kickoff return was called back for Wake Forest (bad block in the back call), but the Blue Hose gave up a 34-yard TD run just 89 seconds into the game.

The first four minutes of the season - and Delaware gets the benefit of TWO huge homer calls in the first ten minutes. Yep. It's football season. xlolx

Yep, at the game. One of three this weekend. It's 21-0 Wake Forest. PC just got its initial first down to start the second quarter.

Presbyterian has held its own on defense. The special teams cost the Blue Hose the first score and Brandon Miley threw a pick-six to make it 21-0.

No point watching the WF-Presbyterian game. It's clear the Demon Deacons are predestined to win.

The Blue Hose stopped a Wake drive at the 19 when cornerback Brian Wilson recovered a fullback by the Deacons' QB.

I guess I should just go home then (ha, ha). Actually, PC is threatening to score.

Took Miami a minute to score on FAMU, 7-0. Buffalo 3-0 over URI after 1. SE Mo State 7-7 after 1 with Ball State.

URI has had the ball twice, botched FG attempt and INT'd in end zone. Getting their chances, but blowing them does not win you this type of game.

PC just pulled off one of the best trick plays I've seen in some time for a 68-yard TD pass. It was a double pass, where the QB bounced the ball off the turf on a backward pass. The receiver acted like he was frustrated with the incomplete pass and then hit another receiver streaking down the middle of the field. It's 28-7 Wake Forest late in the first half.

I think the second half might be delayed in starting as the WF band plays 412 verses of "Just as I Am."
