Delaware will take on the Panthers on Aug. 30, 2014 and on Aug. 31, 2019. Both games will be played at Pittsburgh’s 65,050-seat Heinz Field. The two schools have never faced one another in football.

They just had their first ten win season since 1981 and it would have been twelve except for a loss by a field goal at the end of the game to West Virginia and a one point loss to Cincinnati, who was undefeated until Brian Kelly bolted for South Bend.

UD didn't announce how much the payout is, but the latest article estimates between $400k & 500k, so UD will potentially be losing money in these games, especially once the stadium upgrades are done and the attendance is at 30k every game.

Delaware also will be playing Navy twice, in 2011 & 2013, and has officially announced the end of the West Chester series in 2012 which will be the 44th consecutive season the two have faced off.
