I have watched the you-tube video on this guy from high school and he is difinitely a running machine. I think this comes as bad news for any J'villeSt opponent in 2010, Ole Miss included. He could be the best running back ever to play at JSU.

This RB may be bad news for JSU. I know that some kids need a second chance and this may be the case here. I also know that sometimes transfers work out and(at Samford also) sometimes they don't. Not knocking JSU either, as I have personally known some really classy kids there - like Rondo Rogers.
As for Barksdale, he hasn't played since high school. He was arrested last August for DUI and no license. The car he was driving was reported as stolen, but the owner preferred not to press charges and he dodged that count. He also did not play for the Rebels this past spring because Nutt suspended him for "violation of team rules". He was dismissed from the Ole Miss Team a few days ago - August 8th.
It seems to me that this is a lots of baggage. GOOD LUCK

Ryan Perrilloux did it all for Jacksonville State last season, passing for 235 yards per game and rushing for another 44, while accounting for 31 touchdowns in 10 contests. Despite that loss in production, Crowe didn’t sound terribly concerned about the position.

There were a lot of people that said the same things about Ryan Perilloux. But you know it all worked out. It is not like the coaches at Jacksonville State do not know what they are doing. They have already been down this road and know it well.

I want to see him play in both directions. Tig is an awsome Safety.
