The AFCA honored Appalachian State's Jerry Moore (Division I-AA) as their coach of the year in a selection by his peers last night at their annual conference in Dallas.
Joe Paterno got the nod for I-A by the way and Grand Valley State's Chuck Martin was given the NCAA Division II/NAIA nod.
Congrats to Moore, well deserved!
