He played OLB and was a good BBall player in HS and was swapped to OL at Rutgers. Didn't like the OL.

He fills our biggest need. xnodx If he is recovered from his ACL injury, he could be a good pick up.

Can't wait to see him at practice!

His knee injury was over 4 years ago as a senior in high school. The knee is fine per Kevin Tresolini

There's recovery...and then there's recovery. And I bet KT hasn't seen the kid play, so KT's word means nothing.

Does our new DT still have the explosiveness that allowed him to be an All-State basketball player and LB or is he being moved to DT because he can't get that quick start as a DE? He's added 30lbs, so is that something that has slowed him down a bit? Previous articles say this guy was a heck of an athlete...is he still an athlete or just a run clogger?

If he still has a quick burst, then on some plays we could have the new Hofsta DE and this guy line up outside and put a lot of pressure on passing plays. Toss in MM and that is a solid potential pass rush from the ends. If he is slower, then we are still better depth wise on the line. Either way, he is a good pick up. But, I'd like to see a guy who could also play the DE position.
