Can I get some Football Geekdom Love?

I know this is probably not unusual to some of you, but I am venturing into full football geekdom mode on the weekend of 09/11-09/12. THREE football games in 25 hours.

1) 09/11 11:00AM _Illinois State @ Northwestern (Evanston, IL, this game is a must)

2) 09/11 6:30 PM__Southern Illinois @ Illinois (Champaign, IL, wife is from Urbana and went to SIU, this game will be a total downstate Illinois drunkfest)

3) 09/12 12:00 PM_Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears (Chicago, IL, as crappy as the Lions have been, this is always a fun game)

Sounds like a great weekend. Nothing better than college football and finishing the weekend off with NFL, doesn't matter who is playing, it's the NFL.

I might do a similar football weekend: Friday night- HS game, Saturday- ASU, & Sunday- Panthers. I usually lay low on Fridays, especially when I have back to back ASU and Panthers games...

I'm betting lots of App fans will be making the trip from Boone to Charlotte for back to back Saturday Sunday games. Hopefully, they'll have plenty of great stuff to watch.

I am quite jealous...I wish I could do that. I may be able to get a Friday night HS game and a UNH game in back to back...but you can't pay me to go to a Pats home game (unless they are hosting the Cowboys).
