Houston OL Jarve Dean was dismissed and is looking to transfer down. Anyone have news on this guy?

Houston proper (he went to an actual Houston ISD school - Kashmere)...only has one year of eligibility left. Was dismissed in March. If he's still floating around, there's a reason why.

Reason I ask is because NFL scouts I talked to have him as a 5th-6th round type guy. He won't get drafted with his off field issues but he is very good and would be an instant all-star for any FCS team.

I was thinking that by NCAA rules, a player has to have at least 2 years of eligibility left to drop down to FCS.

That is usually the case unless a player has graduated already and i'm not sure if he has or not. That is why I asked to see if anyone had heard. I figured he would land in D2 but wanted to see if anyone here had an inside scoop.
