The profession Stubbs chose to earn his living had he and his family crisscross the country several times.
As an assistant college football coach, Stubbs has had stops at Provo, Utah, Corvalis, Ore., Memphis, Tenn., Martin, Tenn., Las Vegas, Tuscaloosa, Ala., Tulsa, Okla., Louisville, Ky., and Warrensburg, Mo.
His latest and first stop as a college football head coach became Thibodaux when Stubbs was hired at Nicholls State in January.
