Great analogy by Matt Viator...and this is going to help McNeese's media coverage in the state. They arguably have the second or third best recruiting class in the state most years, behind just LSU and some years behind La Tech (don't give me that crap about the NWST Rival rankings).
“The week before we’ve got a big (Southland Conference) game against Stephen F. Austin and the week after we’ve got to go to Southeastern (Louisiana), who I think is going to be pretty good in our conference,” Viator said Friday in the ballroom of the Baton Rouge Marriott, where the Cowboy Roundup Tour was making its final stop.
But the concern with his schedule was put in perspective when Viator peaked at LSU’s schedule.
“Nobody in Baton Rouge is going to want to hear about our schedule,” he said, “because they’ve got Florida the week before and Auburn the week after.”
