the same officiating crew which worked the Rose Bowl last night, worked the NDSU-Nicholls St game last fall in Fargo (NDSU uses Big 10 officials)

Did they miss the lateral TD BUT really down call in that game too? Why the hell didn't replay get involved?

The head of NCAA officiating said that Texas’ first touchdown, when Vince Young’s knee appeared to touch the ground before he pitched the ball to Selvin Young, was not reviewed by instant replay because of a technical malfunction.

USA Today quoted Dave Parry, national coordinator for football officiating, as saying that a problem with a monitor prevented the replay officials in the booth from seeing multiple angles of the play. They were limited to the image being shown on the in-stadium replays.

“They didn’t get the time to see the views ABC provided,” Parry said. “It should have been reviewed.”

By the time Texas attempted its extra point, it was too late for the officials to review the play.

likely helped out USC due to the missed extra point. Not likely to have kept them out of the end zone

I thought there could have been an INT that was ruled incomplete as well.
