Not true. Teams across the country include their ranking in their media guides and press releases. http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/index.html

This is very important for teams and their school's athletic programs. To watch four weeks of playoffs and conclude that the tournament winner is the only thing that matters, and the rest mean nothing is quite irrelevant.

I'm pretty sure I'll be winning... barring some kinda strange shenanigans. ;)

Bet was around the second week of the season when App was 0-2. Dbackjon on "the other site" was arguing that App didn't deserve to be voted in the top 10.... and Northern Arizona did. The bet was that if App finished top 10 and NAU didn't... I won. If NAU finished top 10 and App didn't... dback won. If neither finished top 10 or if both finished top 10... neither would win.

And App will probably finish top 5... and NAU out of the top 25. xlolx
