"It appears Eric Wolford is heading home. Wolford, South Carolina’s offensive line coach, has been offered the head coaching position at Youngstown State and is expected to accept it, sources close to the USC program said late Sunday night.

Multiple broadcast reports from Youngstown, Ohio, on Sunday indicated the 38-year-old Wolford would be named the Penguins’ next coach this week."

As a South Carolina Gamecock fan, I can tell you that our fans are pretty upset about losing Coach Wolf. He was only here 1 year as our O line coach and run game coordinator, but, he made a very quick impression on everybody that met him and played for him. Don't know if he's ready to be a head coach yet, but he at least spent a year under a pretty good mentor. Good luck to Youngstown State.

Good Luck to YSU - always one of my favorite FCS schools.
