Since this is the time of year that this discussion has more meat and people are debating who the '09 winners should be - I have a question that goes back a few years - There seems to be an opinion that there is an east-coast bias - maybe true, I don't know - HOWEVER - in '04, '05 and '06 the Defensive POY award (Buchanon) went to Cal-Poly players - Now I am absolutely not trying to diminish the talent and worthiness of the 3 recipients whatsoever - BUT, I would assume that during that 3 year period all 3 guys played at the same time and for 2 years two of them played at the same time - Why did Cal-Poly not ever do anything nationally with the 3 best defensive players in the country? ----
