To be honest, EIU has been somewhat of an enigma this season, at times playing brilliantly and at others looking absolutely abysmal. After the UT-Martin blowout I really thought the team had found their game and was hitting its stride to win the conference outright and head into the playoffs with a full head of steam. Then I watched the Tenn St. game last Thursday and I thought to myself, as I'm sure many other ardent supporters of the OVC did - WTF?

Here's hoping you guys can find a way to win in Carbondale next week, though to be realistic I'd be happy with just a close game. Good luck.

If you bring cash, it shouldn't be a problem. Most of the students will be gone for Thanksgiving break, so there should be plenty of general admission tickets available.

SIU is the best team I've seen at our stadium. They're the kind of team that doesn't blow too many people out because they're good enough to have the game under control without breaking much of a sweat.

Depthhas been the strong point of this Saluki team. Starting linebacker Chauncey Mixon got his jaw broke in week one and they didn't miss a beat with him out for over a month. Starting QB Chris Dieker got his collar bone broken in midseason and they kep rolling with a freshman backup. I'm not sure how many teams could do that.
