I was going to say the same thing, but honestly it does not matter if we were the 17th team or 101st ranked team, we are not going to the playoffs. There are some obvious odd entries here, maybe we should schedule PV A&M to boost our SOS and get an extra win. xrolleyesx

So, we'll be the underdog against Liberty next year. Boy, a win there would be a boost for our program.

HC loss to Bucknell (4-7)

Lafayette lost to Lehigh (4-7)

But I guess that doesn't bother everyone else. xrolleyesx

(CCSU lost to #5 W&M and yes, a 6-5 Wagner team that better than Lehigh and Bucknell, for what its worth)

Lafayette also beat the IVY champs PENN who only lost to Lafayette and NOVA. Nice omission.

CCSU lost to Wagner. Wagner lost to a terrible D-II team (Stonehill). ALso you beat St. Francis by one point..seriously.

Every post by you is meant to downgrade the PL. Please make a logical arguement why we should pay attention to CCSU and we will listen,

Glad you can be intelligent and debate the real issue. Many people have been questioning the PL this year and in the last week you proved a lot of us right.

How do you explain this?

CCSU beat Lehigh; and Lafayetet's loss yesterday is worse than any CCSU loss, period.

Same goes for HC's losses to lowly Bucknell team. Don't forget that Wagner beat Duquesne (3-8) who beat Bucknell (if you want to play that game).

None of those losses are anywhere near as bad a Wagner. Wagner is freakin awful and lost to bad D-II teams.

Lafayette lost to Lehigh in a rivalry game and Holy Cross lost to Bucknell. Both are bad losses but not as bad as Wagner.

Also Stonehill beat Wagner who beat CCSU..so your game is really stupid.

Who exactly did you guys beat this year???

Every post by you is meant to downgrade the PL. Please make a logical arguement why we should pay attention to CCSU and we will listen,

I see you edited your post (I quoted the original in my first response).

To answer your question.

1) I'm not DOWNGRADING the Patroit League and I never have. I always point out that the NEC is on par with the PL. I'd like to think I'm giving my conference a compliment. The problem is you (and many, but not all PL fans), think that is an embarssement and downgrade to be thought of as EQUAL to the NEC.

2) CCSU has a 9-2 record against a schedule witha nearly identical SOS of the 3 PL teams I cited. Our record and NEC championship is worthy of attention. The fact that we are snubbed in polls, but have a similar resume to the PL teams, has no logical explanation, other than a bias.

I suggest you take a different view at my posts and see them in a more favorable light. I am making a point that CCSU and the NEC is on par with HC/Layafette/Colgate and the PL. I consider it a compliment for CCSU to be in that conversation and that's why I post facts to support my point.

The problem is you are too high and mighty and don't like the comparisons, no matter how accurate they are.

SOS doesn't take into consideration who you beat and lost to. CCSU beat no one. Lafayette beat Penn and Colgate. HC beat Lafayette, who beat both of those teams. CCSU beat... no one.

What you are syaing here and the tone of your other posts are completely different. Every post you make is to put down PL teams which in some way is intended to help the CCSU agruement. What you say above may be your intent, but your actual posts simply do not come across in that manner.

If you think their is bias it is your opinion. I really dont care if CCSU is ranked or not or what they do. However, in the future celebrate your team and stop donwgrading ours to make your points.

SOS doesn't take into consideration who you beat and lost to. CCSU beat no one. Lafayette beat Penn and Colgate. HC beat Lafayette, who beat both of those teams. CCSU beat... no one.

Those are good wins, but it doesn't explain the BAD, losses.

CCSU beat Lehigh and Lafayette didn't - that's a pretty simple COMMON opponent. That carrys much more weight when comparing 2 teams that haven't played head-to-head.

Holy Cross lost to BROWN and BUCKNELL. CCSU beat Columbiua who beat Brown. We also beat Duquesne who beat Bucknell.

Also, CCSU does have a win over Albany (who beat Maine).

My point isn't that those 3 PL teams are bad, my point is their complete body of work is SIMILAR to Central's resume. CCSU doesn't have a great resume, but it is comparable to what those teams have done.

Umm . . . something is wrong. Lafayette lost. No way do we deserve to be in the top 25.

But when all the teams have the same losses, wins break the tie, and CCSU has none.

CCSU isn't Lehigh's rival. That's really tough to compare. Even still, Lafayette didn't lose to Wagner...

Now you're getting into rabbit trails. North Dakota beat Cal Poly beat SDSU who was within 3 of Minnesota. Is ND better than within 3 of Minnesota?

Also, CCSU does have a win over Albany (who beat Maine).

Beating Albany isn't beating Maine tho. All you beat was Albany, who lost some embarrassing games, too.

Wins are better, losses are better. It's not equal at all. Your main point is that the SOS is similar and the records are similar, and that's ignoring the actual facts of who was beat and who was lost to, and focusing on the one set of numbers that serves your purpose. I am a Big South and Liberty fan, my dog in this fight is no bigger than a chihuahua. It's not like I'm biased.

Please make a logical argument why we should pay attention to CCSU and we will listen.

I've said it before -- Please make it so we do not have to play these buffoons in my lifetime.

Ace, look at the bright side, you all get to play another game, while most of us have to wait until next Aug to see our teams plays again.

Yes, that is the positive in this case, but our lack of a ranking is still an issue at this point.

CCSU will be down at Bridgeforth in 2012!

Don't worry I'm sure Lafayette and Holy Cross won't schedule us. After going 2-0 and collecting a nice paycheck in our last 2 games against the PL, I don't expect to see us on many PL schedules in the future.

I'm sure you'll try to look for wins somewhere else. xnodx

Every post by you is meant to downgrade the PL.

Of course, but it's effective only if the poster attracts attention and if one responds (kind of like I'm now doing xrolleyesx).

Once again - good luck to SUNY Albany, Central Connecticut State U., and the rest of the NEC. It is a fine, nicely balanced conference that will get its first playoff AQ next year.

I am pretty sure this is last weeks poll. It seems like some drunkard always posts it with updated win-loss records.

I am not that drunkard.

If you actually take the time to looks past Montana's rank, you will see many teams have moved up or down.

Is this official? Because that would be unprecedented, to know a home game (or any for that matter) this far in advance xlolx
