No doubt the 10-member Division I Football Committee is working hard right now in Indianapolis after a crazy final day of the regular season.
One thing is clear to us out here in the Big Sky: Our conference deserves three playoff teams this year. Montana is the automatic qualifier. Weber State and Eastern Washington both deserve at-large bids.

I'm not sure the word "deserve" is right. We have three teams that should be worthy of consideration. Deserve is a bit more argumentative, though I'm certainly hopeful!

We have 2 teams that are basically shoe-ins, and one that has a much better argument for consideration than all other bubble teams.

WSU needed things to happen, and they did:

Liberty lost
UNI lost
MSU lost
Lafayette lost

The only team that has any shot over WSU is Colgate, and I don't think Colgate's resume matches up with WSU's.

We will see, though.

The word "deserve" is right. Both teams have earned their spots among the national bracket. It is time to show the CAA what football actually looks like.

The four teams the CAA brings to the playoffs this year will be scared of no team at any venue, I promise you that. They are all very capable of winning a National title. We'll take your statement as a compliment.
