If LC does not find a way to pressure the QB, it is unlikely to win...way too much time to throw.

Those two missed PATs killed the momentum.

Don't know about the PAT killing momentum, the missed tackles are worse. Those botched PATs are a JOKE!!!!! Something bazzare always sinks this team, and this sure seems like it. We need 40+ to win this, since our secondary can't cover.

letsgopards04
November 14th, 2009, 01:05 PM
Agree but Rodriguez has not been the same as last year. I think the only thing that helps us is that the Crusader defense isn't lighting the world on fire except for that last drive.

It's utterly pathetic and sad that somethig other than the play on the field decided the outcome, though missed PATs ultimately did. I just want that ref never to be able to earn another paycheck again from NCAA football. That timeout to start the third really hurt too.

Lehigh held on to beat Fordham 35-28. A Lehigh win next week and there will be a 3 way tie for 2nd place.if 'cardiac kids' describes a team who consistently comes from behind to win it, I'd have to call us either the 'heart attack' or 'flatlining' kids for once again having a game where we could have either won or tied it on the very last play of the game but come up short ... Colgate, Lafayette & now Lehigh all ended in similar fashion. Perhaps it's the "close but no cigar' gang?

I understand that this game doesn't hurt Coen's chances of sticking around next year but does it help him in any meaningful way? Or is it simply a case of: lose next weekend and he's out and win and he stays?

Congrats on the win, Engineers.

Nope, just you.

Maybe if you watched you could offer an objective opinion.

If you could read more carefully, it's clear I know we shot ourselves.

Nobody deserves anything for trying in life, and certainly not because HC failed the past two years. They learned how to win and finally did, and played a perfect game. They earned it.

Watching him for a couple years now, he throws a pretty good ball (does hot have the velocity of Randolph but has a better touch and better accuracy) and I agree he is not as big, obviously.

Curley's passes seem to float. Randolph delivers faster, but he didn't seem completely poised at times... a few high passes and behind the reciever, even without pressure. Wonder if footing and the mud played a role.

Curley's passes seem to float.

I have always said this too. I was at a game earlier in the year with a friend and I made that comment. She said yes, I know what you're saying, but its just the way he throws it - it's deceptive. The ball gets there just as fast - but it does seem to "float." Taking nothing away from Randolph, of course. He has a rifle arm.
