They showed up in the 2nd half, and ground out a win against a game team from Lewisburg. It's mildly disappointing to be ending the season at 9-2 without a postseason birth, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Another strong season, and hopefully we're set up to bring the title back to Hamilton next year :)

Big day for Pat Simonds, and he deserves it. Here's hoping he takes it to the next level, and makes plays on Sundays xnodx

If this is it, it was a great year for Colgate. 9-2 is one of the best seasons in the history of the program. The guys play really tough and Biddle knows how to win.

I think '61 was refering to being able to say 'goodbye' to Simonds to who killed all of us for too long.

Bucknell has shown something all year. They have played everyone tough and have even held leads or ties with the 'biggies' late into the second half. It appears they just don't have the depth of talent to take it to the next level, but Landis seems to be getting the most out of what he has.

Not having a shot at the post-season at 9-2 sucks. Maybe with some breaks by some other games next week, the bubble isn't totally burst.

I think Colgate can still get in if there are a lot of losses around the country.

Let's just say you're big Stony Brook and Lehigh fans.

Don't give up hope yet. Good luck Raiders, and great season. xthumbsupx

I don't think you quite emphasized this key point enough xcoolx

As it stands, we're the 3rd best team in the Patriot League. I like the PL, but you'd have a hard time convincing me that the League deserves 2 teams in this year, let alone the 3rd place team. Unfortunately, our schedule worked out such that everyone we beat stunk and everyone we played who was good beat us. It was a dicey proposition to begin with, hoping for good records from most of the schedule, but there you have it

Sullivan, Eachus and McCord return next year, so we've got plenty good building blocks for another PL title run in 2010 xthumbsupx

Unfortunately, 'gate's OOC schedule ended up being fairly soft based upon the W-L records of the opponents, so that will undoubtedly be the kebosh even WHEN LC ends up 8-3. No question at this point you and LC will be picked on the inside tracks next pre-season based upon returning players, though we'll have 10/11 starters back on offense who have, hopefully, learned something.
