I didn't think Old Dominion was eligible this year?

I didn't think Old Dominion was eligible this year?

It seems this question is asked every week. They are already a D1 program so they do not have a transition period.

It was actually a joke. Guess I should've used a smiley or something. I've been watching them because an OL from my high school, Alex Bell, turned down a scholarship from UD to go to ODU.

While the 7 D1 win threshold is not a requirement, Delaware could be the rare example of a 6 D1 win team that would be selected for a at-large birth. If Delaware wins their last two games (Navy & Villanova), they should be a lock for an at-large birth. If they win against Navy and lose to Villanova, I think the selection committee would seriously consider adding them and it would depend on what other teams were in the discussion.

I do not expect Delaware to win either of the games, but that is why you play the game on the field. You never know what can happen AGS.

It has been corrected. Northern Arizona was added and Youngstown State was removed from the bubble group.

Yep.

But can you imagine the crap fit that would occur if UD got in at 7-4. It would almost be worth it to see it happen.

If Illinois State gets into the playoffs somehow, I will be at the first round game! But I'm not expecting us to beat UNI on the 21st. And even so, I'm sure there are sexier 7-4 records. But nice to know that we even have a shot right now!
